Photography

I have always had interest in photography....being the oldest child on both sides of the family I always loved taking pictures of my little cousins..posing them, dressing them up....doing their hair and things like that. Last year I decided  I would take photography at the career center. I was unsure about it at first because its an off campus class and I would be going to a class that had no one else in it from Benson. So like 2 weeks before school started I had my mom call my counselor to see if I could switch out of it and take pottery instead...i found out I couldnt switch out,  I just had to deal with it. I was mad, but now I am so glad I stuck with it because its my all time favorite class, I have learned so much about photography. In the beginning of the year we focused on taking pictures outside and dealing with natural lighting i loved it! I am not a person that likes to take pictures of objects and nature, i am more into people. Now that second semester began we started working in the studio...wow is that alot of fun! I know how to work the lighting, backdrops, pose people, and all that fun stuff! Don't get me wrong....it can be stressful at times, but so much fun! I am glad I took this class I hope in the future to be a pro. photographer. Here's the very picture I took for photography....by the way it made it on the wall also at the career center...FIRST picture! I was proud of myself! :)
